Extended week resort entry on sale for $39 starting 3pm Sunday 1 October 2017

Extended week resort entry on sale for $39 starting 3pm Sunday 1 October 2017

To celebrate the extended season, Mount Hotham will be lowering their resort entry price to $39 per day for the last week of the season from 3pm on Sunday 1 October 2017.

Presale of $39 for the extended week will not be available for purchase – you will need to purchase from 3pm on Sunday the 1st of October to take advantage of this discounted price.

The end-of-season drop in price hopes to encourage first time visitors to make the trip to the snow, and those wishing to get their last turns in before the close of the season.

Visitation for the year has increased compared to the same time last year, which reflects the quality and quantity of the snow on the ground.

Various venues across the resort will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner over the extended week and deals will be made available on accommodation, lift passes and equipment hire. [Click here for more details]

Mount Hotham Alpine Resort Management Board CEO, Jon Hutchins, said that he hoped the good weather and snowfall in Spring would inspire people to make the most of the last week of the season.

“It’s about the visual impact in Spring and to come up for this alpine experience while it’s also cheaper for holiday accommodation and resort entry,” Mr Hutchins said.

“There is snow play, great for kids during the school holidays, and there will be a whole range of activities, even if you want to bring your bikes up or do the walks in the area, there is still a lot to do.

“There will be Ski Patrol around the mountain and you can drive straight in to the resort you don’t need pay extra for transport once you are up here.

“There is a bus throughout the village that will be running and there will be great venues open with their decks perfect to get that September sun,” he said.
