Climate, Flora & Fauna

Much of Mount Hotham’s flora and fauna are unique and well adapted to facing the challenging conditions within an alpine environment.  The predicted climate change scenarios place the existence of many of these species at threat.  For further information on the resorts climate, native and exotic flora and fauna; and threatened species including the iconic Mountain Pygmy Possum see the tabs to the left of the page.
