The Lachen apartments are located in the Davenport Village area of Mt Hotham. These apartments are approximately 350 metres from the Big D skiing area and the General Store bar/restaurant. Located within 100 metres of these apartments is the Jack Frost complex which contains: lift ticket sales, ski, board and clothing hire and sales, a café and a licensed bar and restaurant open all season for both lunch and dinner.
Also located within this vicinity is the Village Bus stop. Access to the main ski area is via Frosty Drop, an intermediate level access trail across the road from the bus stop. Hotham Central is just over 1.5km away and is easily accessed via the free village shuttle bus.
