About

Overview

Marouka is an authentic ski club style lodge located near Hotham Village Bus stop 7 that boasts easy access from the Great Alpine Road.  Marouka is affordable, informal, comfortable and most importantly, very social and family friendly. When you stay at Marouka you will meet new people and make new friends all while having a great time at the snow.

With a capacity of 29, there are 8 bedrooms, some of which have ensuites. Guests and members can prepare their meals in a large, shared, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. We have a cupboard full of board games and and lounge area arranged around a gas-fire perfect for hanging out with the kids or yarning with the adults over a beverage. Our drying room and laundry will ensure that even your wettest gear should be dry and ready for action.

To keep our costs down, guests and members are expected to BYO sheets and towels (no sleeping bags sorry, but our doonas are very cozy), and to do some cleaning around the lodge before they leave. We highly recommend you bring your slippers with you as Marouka has a ‘no outdoor shoes’ policy in place for areas beyond the door leading upstairs.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received 30 days or more prior to occupancy will be refunded, less a $40 cancellation fee. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to occupancy will not be refunded unless the booking can be re-let - in which case a $40 booking fee will apply.
