You should have heard by now that the 2025 season will see some exciting changes come to life at Hotham. If you haven’t, get up to speed by reading this news article. With the Kids Snowsports School moving to Hotham Central and some new lesson start times, we want to make sure you know where you need to be and when, so that you have a smooth, hassle free trip to Hotham.

So, if you’re planning any lessons at Hotham, read on so you know where to be on the mountain. 

For all lessons, if you are catching the Free Village Shuttle from your accommodation or from your parked car, you will take the bus all the way to Hotham Central, getting off at Bus Stop 1. If you are parked in Corral Carpark, you will be able to walk to your designated meeting place as listed below.

KIDS LESSONS TIME & MEETING PLACE 

Mighty Mites lessons (3–6-year-olds) 

Time: Arrive for check-in from 9:30am, lessons commence at 10:00am sharp 
Place: Check-in downstairs on the lower level of Hotham Central at the northern end (Zirky’s building side). Enter through the side door of Hotham Central that faces Zirky’s for the best access and head through the new Viva Alpina restaurant and Mighty Mites shared entrance.  

Kids Club Lessons (7-14 year olds) 

Time: Arrive ready to start at 9:45am (boots, helmets, goggles and gloves on and ready to go), lessons commence at 10:00am sharp 
Place: Meet out the front of the Hotham Central building, between Hotham Central and the Great Alpine Road. Look for the Kids Club flags. 

Winter Sports Club

Children participating in the Holiday Camps will meet out the front of Hotham Central between Hotham Central and the Great Alpine Road ready for a 10:00am start. Look for the Winter Sports Club flags.

For the season long programs, our Mini Shredders will meet downstairs with Mighty Mites and our Development Squad will meet out the front of Hotham Central for a 10:00am start.

ADULT GROUP LESSONS (including Beginner Bundle)

Time: Morning lessons commence at 10:00am sharp and afternoon lessons at 1:30pm sharp. Meet 10 minutes before your lessons start time, geared up and ready to go.
Place: Our adult group lessons will now meet over the road from Hotham Central at the base of the Summit. Look for meeting place banners between the Summit Trainer Carpet and The Bird. 
This includes new skiers and snowboarders participating in beginner bundle lessons.

PRIVATE LESSONS 

Time: Meet 10 minutes before your booked start time, ready to hit the slopes.
Place: Meet out the front of Hotham Central, between Hotham Central and the Great Alpine Road. Look for the Private Lesson banner.
