SNOWSHOE TO FONDUE

Leaving at sunset from the Wire Plain shelter, you'll snowshoe with the group to a hidden eco-village, where you’ll enjoy a delicious heart warming glass of Glühwein by the fire. You will then be invited into the central tipi, where you will learn the secret to making a traditional French fondue, with cheese imported for the occasion from French Alpine farms.

Hypedomes Overnight experience

Extend your Showshoe to Fondue adventure by staying overnight in one of our new, unique to Australia, Hypedomes, which are sustainably built with one idea in mind: simplicity is a luxury. Each Hypedome contains a warm wood-fire heater, hand washing facilities and towels, comfortable bedding (real mattress, bed linen, pillow, faux fur blankets, fleece liner and -10°c sleeping bag), and solar powered battery and USB port to recharge phones. To top it all off, you will have the added benefit of a scenic skidoo tour in the morning.

Australia's only overnight Igloo

Enjoy a three course dinner and spend a cosy night's sleep in a Australia's first and only real snow igloo village. Alpine Nature Experience’s igloos are furnished with a proper bed, -8° sleeping bags and fur blankets. Wake up to the smell of fresh coffee and a cooked breakfast, partnering with SnowStuffPark, you'll finish the experience with a scenic snowmobile tour.

CHEESE FEAST - RACLETTE LUNCH

Alpine Nature Experience’s team invites you to a cheese feast like no other! Grill a half wheel of French cheese and scrape the melted goodness on baked potatoes, all accompanied by delicious charcuterie, smoked meats and a selection of wine and craft beer. Held in the heated tipi at Alpine Nature Experience’s eco-village this activity also includes a guided snowshoe tour.

Scenic Snowshoe Tours

Alpine Nature Experience are offering Scenic Snowshoe tours to their unique eco-village.
This gives guests the chance to join everyone on the tour and have some mulled wine by the fire without committing to the full fondue experience.

WINE AND CHEESE MASTERCLASS

Follow Jean-Francois on a gastronomic journey across the world of cheese and wine, pairing 10 French and Australian cheeses to six wines from North East Victoria. Held in the heated tipi at Alpine Nature Experience’s eco-village and includes a guided snowshoe tour.
