Mountain Safety Collective (MSC) are a fantastic resource for winter backcountry recreationalists.  A not-for-profit organisation, the MSC offer a range of infor resources and facilities (such as the Avalance Training Centres) and include daily forecasts of alpine hazards, including weather, ice and avalanche.
