LONG WEEKEND FESTIVITIES AT HOTHAM

7-9 June, 2024

Wax your skis and detangle the snow chains - the 2024 winter season is set to commence on the weekend of 8 June!

Unfortunately, it's not likely that we'll be in a position to spin any lifts over the long weekend. However, there are plenty of exciting events on and many of your favourite restaurants, bars, cafes and retail stores are opening their doors for the season ahead!

5:00 PM Opening for dinner to kick start the long weekend!

Hot Chocolate, Donuts & S'mores

10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Head to Frankie at the Big D to enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, jam donuts & s'mores

Hotham Trivia at The Bird

7:00 PM Prove your local knowledge with our inaugural Hotham Trivia at The Bird, hosted by Lendo! Questions will be based on Hotham History and Facts. Prizes, but more importantly, bragging rights are up for grabs!

Ajak Kwai Band at The Genny

9:30 PM Ajak will immerse you in the depths, and richness of her South Sudanese roots and soulful sounds and The General.

Fireworks

6:00 PM Celebrate the start of the season with a bang! Fireworks will launch from the bottom of the Basin to celebrate the start of the season. Best viewing will be from the Hotham Hotel deck, or the top of the Village Chair.

DJ Eddy

9:30 PM It wouldn't be Opening Weekend without DJ Eddy hitting the decks at The General. Put on your dancing shoes and hit the floor!

Hoys (Mt Hotham Ski Shop, Jack Frost and Dinner Plain locations) - 8am to 6pm daily

Hotham Central Supermarket - 8am to 6pm daily (8am to 3pm Friday)

Zirky's Sports - 8:30am - 5pm daily
