20cm of Fresh Snow + More Terrain Open!

The snow started to fall at around 11am yesterday and kept going into the early hours of this morning! We’ve woken to 20cm of fresh snow, and it sure looks good on us, see for yourself.  

With the Village Quad now spinning, alongside Big D, Road Runner, Summit Quad and Summit Trainer, there’s plenty of terrain open for you to go and hunt down some freshies. Plus, we have a couple of important announcements:

• Bunderool Carpet and Cobungra Platter (Dinner Plain) are making their debut tomorrow, opening up more beginner terrain!
• WRX First Tracks are kicking off for the season on Road Runner, from Tuesday 2 July at 7:30am! 

We’ve also got cold temps in the forecast, which should see some more solid snowmaking windows in the week ahead. The Mountain Ops team will be doing all they can to open more terrain as soon as possible. Keep an eye on your inbox and @hothamalpineresort socials for updates.

There’s plenty of action at Hotham these school holidays on and off the snow, check out some of the highlights:  

• Night Skiing at the Big D has kicked off and happens on Wednesday and Saturday nights throughout the season.  

• On Wednesday 3 July, catch our fireworks display at 6pm at the Big D before night-skiing. They'll be going off on Wednesdays throughout July.  

• If you’re in the market for some new ski’s, why not swing by our Ski Demo Days on July 11 and 12 to test the latest from Black Crows, Volkl, Atomic and Salomon.  

• For the little shredders in the family, the Junior Rail Jam will be held in the new Playground Terrain Park on July 13. It’s worth coming along to just check out some of Hotham’s best up and coming skiers and boarders!
