The sun was shining, and the groomers were perfection over the weekend. With the Summit Quad and Road Runner opening for the first time this season, there was an awesome energy around the resort. We loved seeing all the smiling faces and hearing everyone talk about how impressed they were with the conditions! We’ve said it before, but huge shout out to our snowmaking and grooming team for doing such a great job. Check out some of our fav weekend snaps in the gallery below.  

We’re also all eyes on the forecast for this week, with snow predicted to start to fall on Tuesday evening! We can’t think of better lead up to the school holidays, so start doing your snow dances! 

Speaking of School Holiday’s, there’s plenty happening on and off the snow to keep the whole family entertained. Some highlights are below:  

• Night Skiing at the Big D is scheduled to kick off on Saturday 29 June and will run Wednesday’s and Saturday throughout the season.  

• On Wednesday 3 July, Night Skiing will be preceded by the first of our fireworks displays that will run on Wednesdays through July and Saturdays in August.  

• If you’re in the market for some new ski’s, why not swing by our Ski Demo Days on July 11 and 12 to test the latest from Black Crows, Volkl, Atomic and Salomon.  

• For the little shredders in the family, the Junior Rail Jam will be held in the new Playground Terrain Park on July 13. It’s worth coming along to just check out some of Hotham’s best up and coming skiers and boarders!
