We officially shut down lift operations for the 2024 snow season today, Wednesday 4 September. While the season had its challenges, there were some great moments. Enjoy this lookback on the season that was. 

As we say farewell to winter operations, we want to thank all of the guests who spent time with us on the slopes. Our Mountain Operations team worked tirelessly to provide the best skiing and riding possible. From extensive snowmaking hours early in the season when the temperature allowed to the groomers working their magic, we had some great days out on the slopes.

We also jam packed a lot of fantastic events into the season. From hosting the first Australian Freeride World Tour events to rail jams that set The Playground Terrain Park alight to the Snowboard and Skier X ANC Cup.

We also loved sharing stories of some of the Humans of Hotham with you all; the people working behind the scenes that make this mountain so special.

While the season is ending earlier than we’d like due to the challenges that Mother Nature has presented, we still want to celebrate another winter of great skiing and boarding, and the great memories created here at Hotham. This mountain is a special place, whether you visit for a day, a week or a season, you are a valued part of our community. We can’t wait to welcome you back for a winter of adventure in 2025.
