Perfect for anyone new to the snow

Our new adventurer beginner bundle is perfect for guests aged 15+ who have never skied or snowboarded before. 

With our new dedicated beginner area, serviced by the Bunderool carpet lift, the Hotham beginner experience provides breathtaking views, in a sheltered area with world-class instructors to help you gain confidence on the snow. 

As part of the deal, you get:

• 1-day beginner lift ticket which includes access to the following lifts: Bunderool Carpet, Summit Trainer Poma, Big D Carpets and Dinner Plain platter. 
• 2-hour group lesson with our experienced ski and snowboard instructors (subject to availability). Lessons are reduced to 1 hour if the group participants are two or less due to the intimate and private nature.
• Optional rental equipment add-on: ski or snowboard set, helmet, jacket and pants 

Lessons are for guests aged 15 years and over. Where lessons have sold out, this package will no longer be available for the specific date.

Lesson time

Lessons run for 2 hours for groups of three and above and run for 1 hour for groups of two or less.
Group lessons start at either 10am or 1:30pm depending on availability.

Meeting place

All Beginner Lesson participants meet outside the middle entrance of Hotham Central 10 minutes before your lesson.

To go along with your equipment rental, you'll need: 

• A valid Mountain Access Card, with the Beginner Bundle loaded onto it 
• Goggles and/or sunglasses to protect your eyes from glare 
• Warm layers for underneath outerwear
• Waterproof mittens or gloves  
• Ski socks (not cotton) 
• Neck warmer/tube or balaclava 
• Sunscreen SPF 15 or higher

Perfect for anyone aged 15+ and new to the snow, the package includes a 2-hour group lesson, beginner lift ticket and optional equipment rental add-on.
