ADULT GROUP LESSONS

NEW for 2025: Extended morning adult group lessons. Now half an hour longer giving you more time to progress! Plus a new adult beginner carpet lift at the bottom of the Summit.

Two and a half hour adult group lessons are a cost-effective and fun way to improve your skills. Group lessons run daily at 10am and you’ll be matched with skiers or snowboarders of similar abilities.

If it’s your very first time skiing or snowboarding, the 2-hour 1:30pm beginner lift and lesson bundle offers an excellent introduction to snowsports at a great price.

Epic Australia Pass and Epic Australia Day Pass holders receive 20% off Adult Group Lessons, when purchased online and in advance.

What you need to know

Everyone can benefit from a lesson, whether it’s conquering your first double black or linking your first turns. Being shown a secret spot or skiing over the bridge for the first time. Mastering parallel turns or tidying up that technique.

No matter your level, we guarantee you'll level up with a lesson.

Reasons to take a lesson

  • Learn from the best snowsports instructors in the industry
  • Skip lift lines with priority loading
  • Receive more personalised tuition and progress faster
  • Explore the mountain in ways you've never seen before!
  • Get insider tips from the people who ski and ride the resort every single day

Ways to save on group lessons

  • Buy your group lesson online, in advance and across multiple days for the best discounts.
  • Epic Australia Pass holders receive up to 20% savings on any group lessons.

A valid lift ticket is required for all group lessons and is not included within the lesson price.

Lesson times

Adult Group Lessons run daily for two and a half hours from 10am for all ability levels. Additionally, beginner level Adult Group Lessons only are also available for a 2-hour lesson at 1.30pm.

Meeting place

All Adult Group Lesson participants meet outside the middle entrance of Hotham Central 10 minutes before your lesson start time.

If you need to hire rental equipment or clothing, we recommend doing this the day prior to your booked lesson to save time in the morning. If you are picking up your rental gear the morning of your lesson, please allow plenty of time for this.
