Get excited: Hotham today officially launched its lift, lessons and rentals, alongside its Passes, all on sale now.
“This is an exciting season to visit Hotham with our new progression terrain park at Big D and the coming together of our snowsports lessons with the new Kids Learning Zone at Hotham Central,” says Hotham Resort Services Manager Nick Noble. “It’s definitely the place to be this winter!”
WHAT’S NEW in lessons and rentals for 2025
- Little Legends start at Hotham: Our renowned Kids Snowsports school moves to Hotham Central from the Big D. A new Kids Learning Zone and carpet area at Hotham Central, as well as a new Mighty Mites indoor space means more fun for the kids and more convenience for parents.
- Longer lessons, greater gains: We’ve extended morning adult groups lessons so guests can enjoy an extra half hour (from two to two-and-a-half hours) in morning lessons to provide more time to progress. This new time matches with children’s snowsports group lesson times and the new 2.5-hour private lesson timing.
- We’ve simplified our adult Beginner Bundle, making it even easier for new skiers and snowboarders to fall in love with snowsports. Plus, a new adult beginner carpet lift at the bottom of the Summit will provide a safe space to learn skills and get started.
- Wintersports Club now has expanded weekend seasonal Development Squads and Mini Shredders to include a full day on Saturday and a half-day on Sunday, for nine consecutive weekends. Plus, we’ve added an additional week of our 5-day holiday camps.
- The dedicated progression-focused freestyle and terrain park zone at Big D will offer an exciting new experience for all.
- We’ve added a new Dynamic Carve 4-Day Ski Program, a new All-Mountain 4-Day Ski Program and a new Telemark Weekend to our Signature Programs line up.
- Back for 2025: our ever-popular Women’s Ski Week, plus our Women’s Ski and Snowboard Weekend programs will be back and better than ever.
Lessons are on offer for all terrain and ability levels and the Hotham snowsports school leads the way for both adults and kids to progress in a fun and safe environment. There’s nothing like the experience of sitting next to Harry the Dragon on the chairlift to create amazing memories. There is also a huge range of rental equipment, including the best performance rentals and demo gear to choose from, with easy pick up from in-resort stores.
