Australia's Highest Ranked Alpine Skier

Her love of skiing started at the ripe age of 2 years old where she started the sport on two plastic skis at her hometown resort, here at Hotham.

Greta made her second appearance on the Olympic stage in PyeongChang 2018 competing in the women’s downhill, women's Super G and combined event at the Jeongseon Alpine Centre.

Small charged down the course in the women’s downhill in 1:42.07 to see her claim 20th place and a spot in Australian alpine history.

Greta has built an incredible career and her feats have not gone unnoticed. In 2012, she was asked to be the Australian Flag bearer at the Winter Youth Olympics in Austria where she notched up 7th place in both Slalom and Giant Slalom.

Building upon her Youth Olympics experience, Greta went on to win the 2013 Giant Slalom Far East Cup in Korea. That same year she also delivered a silver medal in the Junior World Championships in Canada.

Small's career highlight to date has been competing in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games at just 18 years old. At the games she competed in five disciplines and was the youngest competitor in her field.
