TOBOGGANING & SNOWPLAY

HOME / Tobogganing & Snow Play

Dreaming of a snow day full of fun, laughter and winter magic? Whether you’re building your very first snowman, launching into a friendly snowball fight or racing down the toboggan slope, Wire Plain at Mt Hotham is the perfect place to make snowy memories with the whole family.

2025 Update: It's still a little early for tobogganing, so the Wire Plain Toboggan Park has not yet opened for 2025. Stay tuned for further updates!

New this year! We’re building a brand-new Snowplay Hub at Wire Plain, complete with a public shelter and an upgraded outdoor space made for year-round adventures. Plus, with a few new snow guns on site, we’ll help keep the toboggan slope in prime condition!

Our snowplay area at Wire Plain is a winter wonderland where everyone’s welcome to join in the fun - no experience needed! The dedicated toboggan slope is designed with kids (and kids at heart) in mind, so grab a sled and get sliding.
