Getting there from Hotham
A convenient shuttle bus completes the journey in just 15 minutes, with hourly departures to keep you moving. The Hotham to Dinner Plain bus service features increased frequency and extended operating hours from sunrise to sunset, giving you the freedom to enjoy more alpine magic, even after the runs have closed.
Please note, travel from Mt Hotham to Dinner Plain is free on the Dinner Plain bus service. Tickets are only required when travelling in the direction from Dinner Plain to Mt Hotham. This bus route also services the Whisky Flat area. Please advise the bus driver if you wish to be dropped off at Whisky Flat.

Perfect Your First Turns at Dinner Plain
Perfect for first-timers, the Cobungra Platter ski and snowboard hill at Dinner Plain is the ideal place to build your skills and boost your confidence. Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll be ready to take on the more challenging terrain at Mt Hotham.
A Dinner Plain Lift Ticket gives you access to the Cobungra Platter ski slope at Dinner Plain, with operations subject to snow and weather conditions. Lessons with our qualified snowsports instructors are available to book on Saturdays and Sundays, making it the perfect opportunity to refine your skills. Epic Australia Pass holders and those with Hotham lift tickets or first-timer lift tickets can also enjoy access to the slope.
If it’s your first visit, you can purchase a $6 Mountain Access Card online alongside your Dinner Plain Lift Ticket. Collect your card at the Lift Ticket Pick Up Box in Hotham Central or from Guest Services at the Dinner Plain Ski Slope during operating hours. Find out more about Mountain Access Cards here.
